Transfinder Sales Up 12% year-over-year for the first six months of 2016 

Schenectady, New York -  August 10, 2016 − Transfinder Corp., a global logistics software company based in Schenectady, N.Y., achieved record revenue for the first half of 2016.Sales increased 12 percent year-over-year for the first six months ended June 30, 2016 compared with the same period in 2015. 

President and CEO Antonio Civitella said Transfinder was on pace to again break last year's record annual revenue of $11.6 million. 

"Transfinder's growth is driven by new products and upgrades that our clients and the industry have been wanting," Civitella said. "Our developers are now working around the clock on existing products and cutting-edge new technology that we'll be releasing not too far down the road." 

During the first six months of 2016, Transfinder released Infofinder i 3.0, Viewfinder 2.0 and Infofinder mobile 2.0. 

Transfinder ended the first half of the year with 101 new customers, more than half (56 percent) leaving competitors' products for Transfinder. 

Among existing clients, Transfinder saw explosive growth in several product lines, most notably Viewfinder, up 274 percent, Infofinder i revenue, up 180 percent and Busfinder, up 59 percent. 

Other highlights in the first half of 2016 include:

• The Annual Client Summit in Albany, N.Y, drew more than 200 clients
• A partnership with Dubai Technologies, its first in the Middle East
• Tri-City ValleyCats' use of Selfiefinder for the 2016 season
• The launch of an internship program with Clarkson, Siena and SUNY Oswego students
• Attending 26 conferences, 12 in June alone 

"We've had an amazing first half and expect to finish the year strong. The start of school is around the corner for most of the country and we will be seeing stronger demand than ever for our products," Civitella said. "We expect new products and partnerships will result in another strong finish to the fiscal year."
