Dan Roberts to Lead Transfinder’s Professional Services Division

Schenectady, NY – September 12, 2011 – Transfinder, a national leader in student transportation management systems, today announced that Dan Roberts has joined the company to lead its Professional Services Division. Former executive director for long range planning and business systems for Round Rock Independent School District in Texas, Roberts is recognized for his pioneering efforts in developing computerized routing systems for school districts. He is routinely called upon to conduct independent management audits of district transportation operations in order to help districts gain efficiencies and cost savings.
In his role as Director of Professional Services at Transfinder, Roberts will be responsible for developing and expanding the company’s professional services for its more than 1,400 clients throughout North America. He also will work with both the company’s in-house consultants and industry experts to assist in the successful implementation of Transfinder’s software solutions in large, complex transportation operations. As part of the company’s executive management team, he also will be involved in developing strategic plans that meet the needs of clients for quality products and services.
