Transfinder provides school transportation technology solutions to school districts across the country. As part of our platform, we offer SMS text messaging capabilities that enable school districts to communicate important transportation-related information to parents, guardians, and other authorized contacts.

All text messages sent through Transfinder products are informational and transactional in nature. We do not send marketing messages, promotional content, or advertising via SMS.

Types of Messages

Messages sent through Transfinder's platform may include time-sensitive, informational notifications related to school transportation services. This includes but is not limited to alerts about bus status, route changes, delays, and other transportation-related updates. Message frequency varies based on the types of notifications enabled by your school district and day-to-day transportation events.

How Consent Is Obtained

Phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are collected by each school district through their established registration and communication processes. By providing a phone number to a school district and opting in to transportation notifications, parents and guardians consent to receive informational text messages sent through Transfinder's platform on behalf of that district.

School districts using Transfinder's messaging services are contractually required to obtain proper consent from message recipients before enabling SMS notifications.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive text messages. You may also contact your school district directly to request removal from SMS notifications, or reach out to Transfinder support for assistance.
