Schenectady, NY – Oct. 21, 2026 – Transfinder Corporation is pleased to announce two school districts in Kentucky have selected Transfinder’s award-winning routing solution Routefinder PLUS to create the safest and most efficient routes for its students.

In recent months, the following school districts have selected Transfinder technology for routing and other school transportation management solutions: Ballard County School District and Estill School District and Shenandoah School Corp., South Knox School Corp., and Wawasee Community School Corp.

In addition to Routefinder PLUS, several districts selected other Transfinder solutions, such as Transfinder’s award-winning parent app Stopfinder, driver app Wayfinder, field trip management tool Tripfinder, Transfinder Hardware and Viewfinder, which provides insights and a bird’s eye view of a district’s transportation operation.

Transfinder President and CEO Antonio Civitella said Transfinder has a long history with districts in Kentucky and said the new clients would benefit from existing clients in the state as district transportation departments often share best practices with one another.

“As school transportation requirements become more complex, Transfinder’s solutions have not only kept up with growing needs but anticipated where the future of transportation is headed,” Civitella said. “Our clients in Kentucky as well as nationally are diverse. Each has their own unique expectations and requirements. As more clients see our innovative and award-winning solutions that help solve driver shortage issues, bell time complexities and more, districts see that Transfinder meets and surpasses their expectations.”

Transfinder’s routing solutions are the industry leader, with one in three students riding buses routed with Transfinder technology. This year, Transfinder swept the Innovation Awards, winning Best Software/AI Solution, Best Hardware, Best Safety Technology and Best Green Technology.
