Melissa ISD (TX) Picks to Transfinder for Routing, Parent and Driver Apps

Schenectady, NY and Melissa, TX – March 31, 2026 – Transfinder Corporation is pleased to announce Melissa Independent School District in Texas has selected Transfinder’s award-winning routing solution Routefinder PLUS to create the safest and most efficient routes for its students.
Located about 30 miles from downtown Dallas, Melissa ISD serves about 6,700 students who attend five elementary schools: a middle school and a high school.
In addition to Routefinder PLUS, Melissa ISD purchased the parent app Stopfinder, the driver app Wayfinder, the fleet maintenance solution Servicefinder, Viewfinder, which gives users a bird’s eye view of the district’s transportation operation and Transfinder Hardware.
“Since implementing Transfinder, our routing processes have been streamlined, resulting in more efficient and optimized route planning” said Kim Wouters, Melissa ISD’s director of transportation.
