Transfinder Announces the Release of Infofinder Mobile at STN Expo

Transfinder today announced that the company is unveiling its latest innovation, Infofinder mobile, at the 2012 STN EXPO being held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Infofinder mobile allows school personnel to access their critical transportation information on the go, anywhere and anytime.

This newest application from Transfinder, available for the iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod® touch will allow district personnel for the first time to:

  • Document actual events, such as bus accidents or incidents on site and in real time on the portable device;
  • Immediately access and share their district information on students, vehicles, trips, and stops;
  • Display information or reports in the palm of their hands at board meetings or with key district stakeholders.

Antonio Civitella, president & CEO said, “Mobile technology is rapidly finding its way into each and every classroom and business across America. Waiting for critical information on our students and their whereabouts is no longer acceptable when the capabilities for sharing that information is available today. This is why I am so pleased to launch our first mobile application for pupil transportation, empowering everyone in a district, from superintendents and board members, to administrators, teachers, and transportation supervisors with immediate access to critical information.”
