Transfinder Hosting Grand Opening Event for Austin Office

Clients from across Texas and neighboring states to visit new location

Transfinder Corp. is celebrating the official opening of its office in Austin, Texas as part of the software company’s plans to expand where its clients are.

On Thursday at 4 p.m., local officials and Transfinder’s first Texas client will officially open the 27-year-old tech company’s first office outside of New York State. The location for the satellite office is:

Transfinder
10711 Burnet Road
Austin, TX 78758

A celebration will follow from 5-7:30 p.m. at nearby DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel located at Austin Northwest Arboretum, 8901 Business Park Drive in Austin. Those interested in attending need to register by emailing Kelly Burton at kburton@transfinder.com.

Texas represents Transfinder’s second largest concentration of customers behind New York State. The new location will be a training and customer service center. Transfinder has scheduled its first onsite Transfinder University, a three-day intensive seminar for Transfinder clients, to run from Sept. 22-24, ending just in time for the ribbon cutting.

“This new office represents in many ways the future of Transfinder,” said Antonio Civitella, Transfinder’s president and CEO. “For the first time in Transfinder’s history, we will have offices in two locations and two time zones. We received a lot of input from our clients and we are responding. I expect we’ll have additional satellite offices in the not-too-distant future.”

2015 marks two decades of Transfinder providing service to Texas school districts. Civitella said at the same time, the company continues to grow at its headquarters in Schenectady, New York, where the company opened a $7 million headquarters in 2013.

Transfinder has become a member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, which will conduct the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 24.

“We are pleased that Transfinder has chosen Austin for its next regional office,” said Charisse Bodisch, SVP of Economic Development for the Austin Chamber. “Transportation is top-of-mind for our community, so it’s exciting to welcome a business that brings more mobility solutions to Central Texas.”

Heading the Austin office will be Dan Roberts, Transfinder’s director of professional services.
