From School Transportation News / By Taylor Ekbatani / March 2024

On the latest issue of STN March 2024: Annamarie Banner, director of transportation for Garland Independent School District in Texas, and her staff have turned to Antonio Civitella, Transfinder President and CEO and Transfinder to provide routing solutions.

Transportation directors discuss the various factors that impact their daily routes, from the driver shortage to weather.

The mix of technology and in-house routers is a puzzle that districts nationwide continue to navigate. For instance, Garland ISD in Texas implemented Transfinder's suite of offerings this year. Rick Walterscheid, director of transportation at Goose Creek Independent School District is also included in the article.
