Jason Wang Joins Transfinder as VP of Technology

Transfinder, a leading provider of transportation management solutions for more than 1,500 school districts in North America, today announced that Jason Wang has joined the company as vice president of technology. In this role, he will lead the development, R&D, and quality assurance teams, as they reinforce the foundation of the company’s core software products to support clients worldwide as well as enhance solutions for administrators and educators.

Dr. Wang has worked in education for over 20 years, beginning as a research analyst for the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Chengdu, China where he also earned a masters degree in economic regionalization. Following his work at the Academy, Dr. Wang came to the United States to earn his Ph.D. in urban and regional analysis from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Department of Geography and National Center for Geographic Information Analysis.

An entrepreneur, he is founder of Worldwide Learning Services, an educational consulting software development company. He joined Transfinder in order to make a greater impact on K-12 education.
